Nice. I did exactly the same, except in my first language, to show my fiancé

Share? Even if it's not written in English, I think people here would appreciate seeing more boobies. It's quite the international community of perverts.

Fun fact FutureBrand used sat photos of the Amazon river to build the logo for the new tourism brand for Brazil

https://www.futurebrand.com/our-work/amazonia

Partnering with RAI (Integrated Amazon Routes) and Embratur (the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion), FutureBrand set out to evolve the Brazilian Legal Amazon into Amazônia: a unified, globally recognised and sustainably driven destination brand. One that could honour the distinct identities of its 28 million inhabitants while presenting a powerful, shared vision to the world and unlocking long‑term economic and cultural value.

Here's the logo with the satellite images. Each letter is in a different state for inclusivity but also because of how gigantic the river system is

And here's some illustrations

FTFY

There's nothing sustainable about large scale international tourism. Nor of Brazil's mass deforestation of Amazonia.

Thank you, with this I am released of my duty and can truly be free.

[-] DarkSirrush@piefed.ca 1 points 17 hours ago

Just get pen and island, problem solved

[-] Typhoon@lemmy.ca 17 points 1 day ago

It's too small

[-] fossilesque@mander.xyz 9 points 1 day ago

Can't take your dick out in space, we've gone over this.

[-] some_kind_of_guy@lemmy.world 8 points 22 hours ago

Why not? It's survived other strong vacuums before

[-] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago

"He already survived in the vacuum of my mom. I mean, 'My mom's vacuum.'"

[-] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 2 points 22 hours ago

Is that you, Doofy?

[-] Olgratin_Magmatoe@slrpnk.net 5 points 23 hours ago

You could always grab letters individually

[-] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 5 points 20 hours ago

Like common serial killer? I think not.

[-] chazwhiz@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago

Well that’s just neat. You can access all the “letters” available as well through this link https://science.nasa.gov/mission/landsat/outreach/your-name-in-landsat/

[-] rehydrate5503@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

Perfection.

Haha took me a while to read it

[-] Grass@sh.itjust.works 2 points 19 hours ago

Its neat but I can't read most of these

[-] starik@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 day ago

A lot of the letters are not as clear as one would like. Guess what this one is supposed to be:

[-] Baguette@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 20 hours ago

This one is hard because its using the farmland as Z, but your eyes kinda naturally look at the waterways instead

[-] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

Which is why my first thought was, "L?" because the water looks like a natural boundary. Only after looking again did I see a Z.

I think tilting it slightly straighter would've helped. Here it is tilted just 10 degrees -

Though it's still kinda 7-y. That chunk of farmland at the end makes my mind want to discard the bottom part entirely. It's neither the same color nor expected shape.

Edit: now I notice the circle above it, making a lower case "i" possible. Such fantastic ambiguity.

[-] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 day ago

That’s dancing man

[-] mr_anny@sopuli.xyz 6 points 1 day ago
[-] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 day ago

Yeah the N doesn't quite work. Maybe it's a lower case n, but that's dumb.
