The dudes who wrote this shit were high off their gourd on shrooms so it tracks.
I got curious and looked into it a bit, it was pobably not actually shrooms. It was more likely ergot, rhododendron honey, or hallucinogenic bream. These seem to be the hallucinogenics of choice in Greece, Anatolia, and the Levant during the first and second centuries CE. I didn't even know you could get high from just eating a fish.

Ah I remember learning about the meth and supposed meth commies forever ago, I never learned what caused the split between the two meth factions but the idea of a minor meth civil war kills me. I'd say that is a good call and should be a rule. In retrospect I should have done so when posting text about it too etc. There's the recovery angle and it can be uncomfortable to hear about if you've had parents or close relations that were or are addicts. There's a lot of reasons people might not wanna see or hear about drug stuff, I think it'd be good policy and await the struggle session
And I say this as someone who has only like...soft quit hard drugs. I no longer buy them on my own but will toss in on a couple rocks at a part or whatever. I'm coming from it as a guy who has done all the drugs and has some issues with some and know a lot of people with issues with others or people that have had really bad childhoods cause drugs etc. I'd include alcohol as well if not especially because it's already freely advertised so if you're trying yo get off the sauce there's just that much more imagery. Obviously discussions of it shouldn't be banned but I do think it would even make sense for people posting about being drunk etc to require a CW.
I'm not computer guy but if there was a way to automate a CW when certain keywords are posted I think it would really help as well. I'd hate to give up people drunk posting and telling you about it and I understand forgetting to CW when intoxicated/being a bit mad to have to edit after as well. Images and stuff would still require someone asking but for text it would save a lot of work/conflict
