The dangers of the bear zone aren't nearly as bad as they're made out to be. I haven't been attacked by a bear in weeks.

How did I get here

[-] Melochar@lemmy.world 19 points 8 months ago

Is that why it is called the Goldilocks Zone?

[-] jaybone@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

Mind = bear

[-] don@lemm.ee 13 points 8 months ago

Even outside the atmosphere, there’s a high risk. Bears really are impressive.

[-] lugal@lemmy.ml 12 points 8 months ago

This is all joke and fun until you realize you live in the green region (which I do)

You came to me?? I shouldn't have told people on the internet where I live

[-] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 11 points 8 months ago

So, on average, a high chance of being attacked by a bear in the Sol system.

[-] jaybone@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

This is for the solar bear. Now check the polar bear.

[-] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 11 points 8 months ago

The chances of getting attacked by a bear in the pink zone are low, but never zero.

You are forgetting one thing… space bears…. They are a very real threat.

You joke, but after cosmonaut Alexi Leonov complained about the possibility of a bear attack, the TP-82 shotgun was standard issue on Russian spacecraft for decades.

[-] Micromot@feddit.de 3 points 8 months ago

Kind of makes sense when you think about them landing back on earth and maybe having to fight off something before the vessel can be recovered

[-] Lepsea@sh.itjust.works 1 points 8 months ago

Is that why a flying saucer is a circle?

[-] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 0 points 8 months ago

Did someone mention drop bears?

[-] EdibleFriend@lemmy.world 8 points 8 months ago
[-] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago

Why isn’t this given out at national parks? Do they want bear attacks?

[-] jol@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 8 months ago

Most national parks are controlled by the bear mafia

[-] WarmSoda@lemm.ee 4 points 8 months ago

Easily avoided if you stay out of gay bars.

[-] Heavybell@lemmy.world 4 points 8 months ago

Without my glasses I saw "risk of deer attack", which I think makes this post funnier

[-] Zugyuk@lemmy.world 4 points 8 months ago

Do tardigrade count?

[-] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 3 points 8 months ago

What the hell are you all talking about? There's no high risk of getting attacked by a BAAAAAAAAHHHH ... OH MY GOD!!! ..... YAAAGHHHJHHAAAASGHHGGH!!!

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

It's obviously pointing to the South Pole and they don't have any bears. :F
