Cotton scares me. he’s too much of a pencil-necked dweeb and a wet towel to stand a chance as a presidential candidate, but he would absolutely angle for a position in a far right administration, where he’d be able to do the maximum damage. he’s cruel, simple-minded, and good at appealing to other cruel and simple-minded people. its motivating paranoid white suburbanites with the promise of blood that keeps him in office, not charisma.
he’s one of the most dangerous potential figures in a second Trump administration, because he genuinely wants as much bloodshed from people he doesn’t like as possible, and is willing to break all political/social norms to make sure it happens.
