Damn, I had no idea netcat had a hardware implementation

[-] RampageDon@lemmy.world 42 points 10 months ago

Buster does not seem satisfied with the current work

[-] Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 10 months ago

"Secure that SSD in a bay and get the faceplate off my butterfly, you monster!" -Buster

I'm taking note of that that combo feather teaser / ball track / butterfly toy. I think my big orange boy would lose his mind over that.

[-] Dozzi92@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

Wait, you can secure SSDs and not just kinda push em in there?!

[-] Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 10 months ago

Clearly that's what blu-tack is for.

I hope you're upgrading from debian buster to bullseye!

This incident will be reported

Buster disapproves of your cluttered work station

[-] med@sh.itjust.works 8 points 10 months ago

Buster's slightly concerned he's about to be replaced with bookworm

[-] Machindo@lemmy.ml 7 points 10 months ago

With that number of cat toys it makes me think you really care about your kitty.

We spoil ours as well.

[-] Tinnitus@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

Buster is actually calculating the surface area of your server, and has already determined that he will fit perfectly on it.

[-] andrew_s@piefed.social 5 points 10 months ago

Buster should turn their attention to the size of the images uploaded to servers like this: 1.1M is arguably overkill for this one.

[-] cm0002@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

Meh it's a meg, not like it's the good ol dial up days where you'd sit there and have to wait for a few hundred KBs of a pic to load line by line LMAO

[-] andrew_s@piefed.social 1 points 10 months ago

It seems to be quite a lot for the server it's hosted on though (which is not the snappiest). There are, of course, still areas in the world where - for one reason or another - people still are effectively on dial-up speed-wise.

I'm working on it

[-] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

Look ma, you can fit a whole jpg on one of these!

Ma: oh I thought those were coasters

[-] Evil_Shrubbery@lemm.ee 4 points 10 months ago

I love Buster, make sure to tell him, such a distinguished and professional supervisor.

[-] MaggiWuerze@feddit.de 3 points 10 months ago

That's one angry looking kitty

[-] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Such a helpful kitty!

[-] mudle@lemmy.ml 2 points 10 months ago

Buster clearly disapproves of the upgrade.

[-] Yerbouti@lemmy.ml 1 points 10 months ago

How about you stfu and give that cat some tasty food?

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 0 points 10 months ago

That computer is goofy. Why are the drive racks like that
