This meme would’ve decimated my 3rd grade cafeteria.

[-] nifty@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago

It works, approx. 1 in 10 people are gay anyway

[-] Kyatto@leminal.space 40 points 1 month ago

yes, no. I don't see how this is so tricky

[-] OneWomanCreamTeam@sh.itjust.works 30 points 1 month ago

Are you gay: yes Are you lying: no

Guys I don't see the trap.

[-] rbn@sopuli.xyz 28 points 1 month ago

Just learned that I'm gay. Any fellow dudes who want to hook up? Any tips on how to tell my GF?

[-] tacosanonymous@lemm.ee 16 points 1 month ago

I’ll tell your gf if you tell my wife.

[-] rbn@sopuli.xyz 7 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Deal, maybe if we show 'em the meme, we can go on a double date.

[-] Blahaj_Blast@lemmy.blahaj.zone 26 points 1 month ago

We're in 196,what do you think?

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago

But wait! Gay has a second (or rather first before the currently common one) meaning! I can thus answer this honestly without triggering the trap, provided that I'm in a joyous mood at the time!

Foiled your dastardly plans again, Ra's al Gay!

[-] Pelicanen@sopuli.xyz 8 points 1 month ago

Wait, you have to be happy for that?

Guess I'm into men.

[-] ICastFist@programming.dev 16 points 1 month ago

Rules lawyer: There's nothing stating you must answer with "yes", "no" or "yes or no", thus the following remain valid: Aye, Affirmative, Correct, Yep, Yus, Nah, Nay, Negative, Nope, Yaaaa onii-saaaan~

[-] Silentiea@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 month ago

Got it, here goes:

Are you gay: Totes mcGoats
Are you lying: nah

[-] Samvega@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 month ago

Yeppers.

Double yeppers.

INFINITE YEPPERS.

/yeppers intensifies

[-] whatsisface@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 month ago

I can only use yes or no once? "No" for the first question and the second question stays blank since I already used my one yes or no.

[-] SaltyIceteaMaker@lemmy.ml -5 points 1 month ago

This reply feels awfully like a reddit comment

[-] lastweakness@lemmy.world 13 points 1 month ago

You're on what is essentially federated reddit...

[-] SaltyIceteaMaker@lemmy.ml -3 points 1 month ago

Yet this place is very different from reddit no?

[-] lastweakness@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

I do think it's different, but i don't think it's as different as a lot of people here seem to want to believe

[-] SaltyIceteaMaker@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

No it definitely is, the questions and comments here get respectful and goodwilled replies (most of the time that is) while on reddit i would get 3 comments degrading me for my choices 1 that says im stupid and should do my research 2 trolls 1 actual answer to my question and ankther person telling me that they're better cause they know the answer. The "redditor cliché" is not so much a cliché as it is an actual representation. At least in my experience.

In short this place is not nearly as toxic as reddit is

Edit made an addition

[-] lastweakness@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

That's just Lemmy being a smaller community. I've seen plenty of toxicity on here as well. In a way proportional to the size of the community. And especially more on some specific instances.

[-] kamenlady@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I really think it's a matter of size. Especially when something gets more known and attracts people that usually wouldn't come around.

Given time and popularity, every place ends up too crowded and full of shitty people.

For now, we are still living the good life. Just like the folks, from where Furiosa came from.

Reddit is the Bullet Farm.

[-] kittenzrulz123@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 1 month ago

Damn, I guess im a girlkisseer now :3

[-] RandomVideos@programming.dev 10 points 1 month ago

I can only use no or yes once. I can use other words as much as you want

So i can just say "da" and "ba"

[-] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 10 points 1 month ago

Is being pansexual more or less gay than simply being homosexual? 🤔

[-] progettarsi@feddit.it 5 points 1 month ago
[-] PyroNeurosis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 9 points 1 month ago

Bold of you to assume it's being gay that I lie about.

[-] TwoBeeSan@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

R u geeey

Do your parents know you're gay?

Elementary me felt like quite the fool when I said no.

[-] rain_worl@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago

first ask any question, and then depending on the answer, either ask a question or its opposite

[-] SaltyIceteaMaker@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 month ago

No and No (i can't count)

[-] MenacingPerson@lemm.ee 6 points 1 month ago

are you gay? No

Are you Lying? .....

crickets

If I never say anything..

[-] odium@programming.dev 6 points 1 month ago

What if I split up the "no" in half and answer both questions with half a no?

[-] drew_belloc@programming.dev 1 points 1 month ago

That would mean you are half gay

[-] odium@programming.dev 8 points 1 month ago
[-] Klear@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

Are you gay? Yes or no
are you Lying? .......

[-] irish_link@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago
[-] Blackout@fedia.io 4 points 1 month ago

Are you gay: 1 time
