“Civility” fetishism grinds my gears. The DNC can’t say this dude is an existential threat to “Democratic values” or whatever and then do a photo shoot with them. It’s other all performative nonsense, or you and your party are really in line with the conservatives’ ideology and agenda. The DNC and their acolytes just are a cowards who thinks the Republicans’ methods are “icky” but don’t fundamentally disagree.

I hope this finally kills "anti-fascist" politics, by which I mean blackmailing people into enthusiastically backing centrists against the far right.

European political systems are rife with this shit too and it's not helping the left, recently it feels like european politics resemble american politics more and more so I'm sure well get influenced by whatever happens there
