Supreme executive power derives from a mandate of the masses [of ground beef] dennis

It probably would have hurt her campaign to be given a fucking award to prove she was normal.

Trump did a lot of obvious theater to pretend he was with the masses and saw himself on their level instead of a man who literally coats his walls in gold. But Harris wasn't even willing to pretend she was anything other than an elite. All of her working class bona fides were about her past. That just doesn't mean dick to people.

Explaining political endorsements to amerikkkans: imagine a burger

Trump working at McDonalds is probably the best outreach to the working class that we will ever see.

[-] Lussy@hexbear.net 30 points 1 month ago

Yeah, it truly was. Few people ever even acknowledge the huge chunk of the population, of the working class, that’s working unglorified min wage jobs.

Even when they pay lipservice to the working class the way some politicians do, they always seem to be referring to high wage union members or bartenders at upscale restaurants

She burned through over a billion dollars and she couldn't even get a photo-op with Ronald McDonald smh.

Just go sit next to the statue, it's free

Garbage-ass timeline deprived us of Harris trying to improve her odds for a presidential election by calling out Trump for stolen burger-valor with a bogus Ronald McDonald challenge coin

sicko-wistful

In a land torn between struggle sessions over pineapple on pizza, or mayo with fries, there is only one thing that brings them together: the burger. Hailing from the land of Hamburg, Germany, it has become a beloved import of American cuisine. The simplicity of its craft, ground beef modeled into a ball and then flattened, with 2 slices of bread, and various toppings of your choice, make it a symbol of freedom. Anyone can make it, just like the American Dream.

That this didn’t work out is proof there is no god

[-] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 1 month ago

Or proof of some kind of trickster god, who just found it all very funny.

Imagine the person who is celebrating these things, though. What kind of outreach is intended by being celebrated by a shitty burger chain? Who is actually out in the crowd, applauding this?

Chud at work was like "That shows he can do a real day of work" and was pretty keen. I do not feel like I'm in a safe position to air my politics out at work. >.>

Like a lot of us, probably not. I'm in the same boat.
