Imagine needing censoring the word boobs for social media.

[-] KyuubiNoKitsune@lemmy.blahaj.zone 17 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

The boomers always used to call millenials snowflakes, but fucking hell, if censoring swearwords isn't ACTUAL snowflake behaviour.

For clarification, I'm not saying millenials are snowflakes.

[-] Mr_Blott@feddit.uk 7 points 3 months ago

Are the millennials not in their 30s now? Don't think it's them censoring stuff like this

[-] ThomasCrappersGhost@feddit.uk 2 points 3 months ago

Im 38. I was born in 1986, left school and started work aged 16, in 2003.

[-] mayhair@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

My mother is a millennial (40) and I am Gen Z (18)

[-] socsa@piefed.social 9 points 3 months ago

[-] dufkm@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

Usually I'm more involved when my face is planted on someone's tits but I'll allow it.

You can't write boobs, the sacred algorithms don't like it!

[-] AreaKode@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

Titties. Hehe.

[-] dQw4w9WgXcQ@lemm.ee 9 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

I have a th*ory that censoring certain w*rds makes the t*xt read more edgy and illegal, drawing in even more p**ple for the clickbait.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 21 points 3 months ago

Ostriches don't have boobs, they're birds.

Yeah but birds do have tits. You know.. I'm going to skip trying to add a picture of a tit here, that search might backfire.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago

Tits and boobies are not ostriches!

Just because tits can fly doesn't mean we should ostrichsize those that can't.

[-] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 months ago

They don't have nipples, but they certainly have breasts.

Does that mean the difference between a breast and a boob is just the nipple?

[-] GreatAlbatross@feddit.uk 2 points 3 months ago

They can be shown on US television at least.

Barbs. She got hooked on barbiturates earlier than her peers did.

Her name is Sydney, the largest city in Australia, so I think it meant to say she can cook a fine venison on the barbie

Somewhat off topic, I had an idea for a slightly cheesy visual novel:

You play as a woman who has relatively large breasts. The game is entirely first person and you never actually see her, just people acting in oafish ways around her as she desperately tries to make a professional career.

Curious if that would sound silly/interesting to some people.

[-] krashmo@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

It's an interesting concept but no way I would play that. Building a career is a boring concept on its own. I don't want to emulate someone else doing something I wish I didn't have to do in real life.

[-] JusticeForPorygon@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

I think it would be more targeted towards people who haven't experienced it in real life as a sort of empathy-building exercise.

I can see it work, if you can see them when you look down

[-] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 months ago

Haha that would actually be a great exercise in building empathy

[-] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

Needs an ostrich for scale.
