This dovetails with my thesis that very few people, even in the industry, understand game design and what it means that games must be designed.

GTA Online has a snowy winter overlay that gets turned on for Christmas despite the game being set in ~~Los Angeles~~ Los Santos, and since this channel seems to have a billion of these videos where they have an AI trace over GTA V gameplay I guess they were bound to use it
Can't imagine a worse future for gaming. Bland graphics with no style. Bland gameplay that has been averaged out to be the most mediocre slop imaginable.
But do you see how realistic those dudes look?! Finally games can look like blurry melting digital photos
Finally, games that look exactly like my memories: a blurry mess of bullshit that may or may not have happened, filled with faces I can't even remember because they died so long ago it may as well be my imagination.

All of the AI slop feels that way. It’s like being in a dream or nightmare where people, things and places look real but feel wrong and where things appear and disappear and change into the unfamiliar familiar. It’s like constantly being in the uncanny valley
I remember seeing an AI generated video when it was still relatively new and it really did look like a nightmare. I distinctly remember a moment where a tree suddenly gained an opening that resembled the mouth of a baby bird and that has stayed with me as something profoundly disturbing for its dream-like quality
just make graphics worse to increase performance and make massive crowds possible, please. Also have a clear artstyle, this "realism" shit has run it's course
GTA V but what if we gave it some graphics enhancement mods that don't fucking work
All these videos look like shit, no idea why they keep making these.
I mean there is the genre of psychodelic adventure games where everything look wrong to disorient and disturb players but i never seen the idea as attractive.
it's cool when the game is an experiment and/or designed around it, not when then purpose of the effect is to cut corners.

Kinda choppy and buggy and fries your CPU, but look how realistic!
Pretty sure you need a server farm and obscene amounts of electricity to render these types of videos but sure, it's completely reasonable they'll be able to fit this technology into a consumer-grade graphics card or video game console
