Frankly I have no respect for anyone that can get into the same room as Netanyahu and not choose to kill him on the spot regardless of the repercussions.

[-] peeonyou@hexbear.net 36 points 8 months ago

I would find some way to end his life if I ever had the chance.

You can do anything with teeth and enough conviction.

And yeah I know I'm fedposting but it's Netanyahu, I feel like if there's literally anyone on this planet where such self sacrifical adventurism is warranted it's him.

I feel like our resident fed is probably reading and just nodding along and thinking about how much they hate Netanyahu too.

I'd go for the eyes

Even if the trauma didn't do him in, he's now old and blind

People like him don't do too good like that

Huh

I don't know if it's a good thing that I think like a Byzantine politician, but I'm not surprised

[-] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 4 points 8 months ago

It's one of the great poetic coincidences of history that the Byzantines blinded people to remove them from political life (one of the most famous cases their talented general Belisarius that brought so much acclaim to Justinian's rule got his peepers poked out) and when the 4th Crusade sacked Constantinople in 1204 one of the crusade's leaders was Enrico Dandalo, the blind doge of Venice.

He must have thought that was so cool. I wonder how embarrassing it is to be a statesmen and have to deal with tim pool?

[-] dead@hexbear.net 35 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Tim Pool is pissed today because he thought the meeting was going to be secret but pro-Israel media leaked the story. He's claiming that it's "fake news" while also admitting that he did meet with Netanyahu. The meeting was organized by the White House according to Tim. The meeting took place at The Blair House ie The President's Guest House.

It's a small consolation that right-wing politicians have to constantly interact with the most insufferable goobers imaginable.

Here's what I tell ya, fuckin-deserve

[-] dead@hexbear.net 24 points 8 months ago

This article says that people at the meeting included Dave Rubin, Tim Pool, Sean Spicer, Bethany Mandel, David J Harris Jr, Jessica Kraus, Seth Mandel, and Molly Hemmingway.

This will be swept under the rug as they continue to be called Russian assets

[-] technocrit@lemmy.dbzer0.com -1 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Well they are russian assets... But also genocidal zios.

I agree that we'll only hear about the former.

[-] comrade_pibb@hexbear.net 5 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

they couldn't possibly be fascists for the love of the game, clearly this is ruzzian meddling!

[-] Grapho@lemmy.ml 3 points 8 months ago

If Netanyahu drops a nuke on St. Petersburg tomorrow these tinfoil merchants will claim Putin pulled his strings to give him an excuse to trigger armageddon.

[-] DragonBallZinn@hexbear.net 19 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

“The rebels” everyone.

As far as I’m concerned: Fedchan is the real “mainstream media”.

[-] technocrit@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

On Monday, ~~Benjamin Netanyahu~~ a fascist held a secret meeting with ~~American media personalities including Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, and Sean Spicer~~ fellow fascists

The fascism is so normalized in USA that we can have totally chill headlines about a group of famous fascists organizing together.

Welcome to c/news! We aim to foster a book-club type environment for discussion and critical analysis of the news. Our policy objectives are:

We ask community members to appreciate the uncertainty inherent in critical analysis of current events, the need to constantly learn, and take part in the community with humility. None of us are the One True Leftist, not even you, the reader.

Newcomm and Newsmega Rules:

The Hexbear Code of Conduct and Terms of Service apply here.

  1. Link titles: Please use informative link titles. Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed.

  2. Content warnings: Posts on the newscomm and top-level replies on the newsmega should use content warnings appropriately. Please be thoughtful about wording and triggers when describing awful things in post titles.

  3. Fake news: No fake news posts ever, including April 1st. Deliberate fake news posting is a bannable offense. If you mistakenly post fake news the mod team may ask you to delete/modify the post or we may delete it ourselves.

  4. Link sources: All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. If you are citing a Twitter post as news, please include the Xcancel.com (or another Nitter instance) or at least strip out identifier information from the twitter link. There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source.

  5. Archive sites: We highly encourage use of non-paywalled archive sites (i.e. archive.is, web.archive.org, ghostarchive.org) so that links are widely accessible to the community and so that reactionary sources don’t derive data/ad revenue from Hexbear users. If you see a link without an archive link, please archive it yourself and add it to the thread, ask the OP to fix it, or report to mods. Including text of articles in threads is welcome.

  6. Low effort material: Avoid memes/jokes/shitposts in newscomm posts and top-level replies to the newsmega. This kind of content is OK in post replies and in newsmega sub-threads. We encourage the community to balance their contribution of low effort material with effort posts, links to real news/analysis, and meaningful engagement with material posted in the community.

  7. American politics: Discussion and effort posts on the (potential) material impacts of American electoral politics is welcome, but the never-ending circus of American Politics© Brought to You by Mountain Dew™ is not welcome. This refers to polling, pundit reactions, electoral horse races, rumors of who might run, etc.

  8. Electoralism: Please try to avoid struggle sessions about the value of voting/taking part in the electoral system in the West. c/electoralism is right over there.

  9. AI Slop: Don't post AI generated content. Posts about AI race/chip wars/data centers are fine.
