I will hurl fire, brimstone, and feces at towns which do not believe in me! And then send them an uncharacteristically good natured tortoise to smooth things over from all the death and destruction that rained from the sky mere moments before.

My creature thinks I'm a benevolent god. Which means it must also think the world outside our domain is in a constant state of annihilation.

I'd have some sympathy if it weren't for how far you need to go to get a license suspended in the first place.

I get that there are some places where needing transportation is basically required to live.. Which is all the more reason not to fuck up bad enough to get that very means of travel suspended in the first place.

I see enough dangerous driving on a daily basis that it's practically second nature around these parts.. The less of the those on the streets the better.

Didn't stop any of the wacky bs in iRobot from happening. Cellphones do cure a lot of what ails older pics, but they can be waved away by things like 'oopsies! Forgot to charge it.' or 'the club is so loud I didn't hear the ringer.' and my personal favorite 'forgot to take it off dnd'.

Absolutely. Adding infamy to this, or looking into their lives at all beyond the investigation only spurs on anyone who is on the edge for ruining their lives in exactly the same way. But.. the media will always aim for the shocking headlines that get the views. Still. I'm with you.

Borderlands 4 has been announced for 2025. For a multitude of reasons, I'm more than happy to sit idly by and wait for a discounted game of the year edition or similar that includes the entirety of their dlc collection because you know there will be paid dlc. It's borderlands.

Even my company work van is only like.. 15ft long.. and it can fit basically anything I'd ever need to use for construction related needs.

So you're telling me that either Mike Johnson has a wad under his mattress, or is somehow the most based cryptobro in politics? Someone should.... investigate.... this.

You are a multimillionaire that has plenty of options on leaving if things get rough, but in the interim you can look forward to tax breaks and more lax controls/protections over whatever industry you may be involved in.

As for the rest of them, he's flying the right colored flag and that's about it.

Tie you hair in a knot for greater volume and less collapse.

If you want an actual serious answer, I can probably type out a more step by step with normal words and not whatever the hell those instructions are talking about.

I thought I was a straight man once. Ended up being not the case.

And just like that, the boundary testing from the American extremists started their next chapter. Let's see how this labrat does. If he gets away they'll burn others offices, if those succeed, they'll start with private residences. Inch by inch, they will become more aggressive. If someone gets caught, they pull back a bit.. But it doesn't stop until they have something larger to point their extremism in the direction of.

I've been working in construction for the past 11 years at this point with a few years before that in a part time role. I'm more than happy to lend whatever knowledge or insights I may have about work, life, or whatever.

I will be checking in sporadically to see if there are questions.

EDITED WELL AFTER QUESTIONS STOPPED: I'm still active-ish on Lemmy, so if you happen to find this and have a question, I will likely still get back to you.

I mean.. At least as a construction worker my retirement plan is three-fold. The trick is to survive long enough and well enough to enjoy retirement.

The three are 401k, annuity, and the unheard of pension.

Granted, I'm also on my fourth pulled back muscle for the year. I really need to stretch more.
