https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/reproducible-builds/

I was looking at this page and it would seem that Fedora had once been involved in the project but has maybe abandoned it. It's been inactive since 2016, but then a Fedora developer tried to reboot their involvement in 2024.

The Reproducible Builds project says that 96.5% of Debian software packages are now made to be reproducible, as well as 88.1% of Arch Linux software packages. This is higher than I had thought.

The real story here is that North Carolina implemented Obama's 2010 Medicaid expansion in December 2023. Which means that North Carolina declined to take free federal money and let people die from lack of coverage for almost 14 fucking years. As part of the implementation, the government is paying off the medical debts of low income people accrued from 2014 to 2023.

Then in September, this company decides to "forgive" 11500 debts right after the government started paying off old debts. That seems suspicious. Why would this company turn down government money from old debts? Seems like the company was trying to scam poor people and realized that the government wouldn't pay the phony bills, so then the debt magically disappears.

Why is it in the news again after the CEO shooting when it happened in September? Because it gets clicks. It's coworker talk. "Hey Bob, ye heard the medical companies are forgiving debts after they got shots? haha"

I think I'm going to do mana stacking. Maybe as stormweaver. Mana regen in POE had a base of 1.8% per second. In POE2, it is changed to 4% base. Then the stormweaver ascendancy gives you a MORE multiplier on mana regen based on total mana amount. Mana regen should scale quite high.

Also they changed the way that attributes work. In POE 1, 2 int gives you 1 mana or 2 str gives you 1 life. In POE 2, 1 int gives you 2 mana or 1 str gives you 2 life.

I would say a console becomes fully retro 15 years after becoming end of life. The PS4 and Xbox One were released in 2013. I would say that PS3/Xbox360 will be fully considered retro in 2028. PS4 will be retro in 2035, which is 15 years after the release of PS5.

I think rtorrent is maintained. it just doesn't get new features very often. You can see that it is still in the latest software repository for Debian for example. Debian would not include the software in the repository if it was not maintained.

In this scene she says that his food is made "without love" and that she would like a cheeseburger made "with love". He then says "I will make you a very good, very traditional cheeseburger". She says "I don't think you can".

I disagree. VPN is a huge bottleneck on internet speed and latency. Also if you are relying on VPN for "privacy", you are just moving your trust from your ISP company to the VPN company. A VPN company could just as easily monitor your traffic as your ISP might.

The only real benefit of using a VPN is adding an additional layer between you and other peers in a p2p situation.

Some states maintain a black list of companies or individuals who boycott Israel. The government refuses any funding or contracts to companies on the blacklist.
