Shit's about to pop off, but we don't know exactly what the orders are yet. I figure we could collect them in a single post and discuss as they come out.

Edit: Official link for orders: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/

where's all the people that were saying "both parties are the same?"

Still correct, the dems set up the play and the reps score the goal. For the last four years every mainstream democratic politician has said we must stop Trump by all means or democracy is dead, yet they have been tripping over themselves to roll out the red carpet for the new fascist regime. Biden even authorized new detention centers for immigrants in his last months to help Trump enact his policies.

The Democrats are Lucy and the electorate is Charlie Brown and they yank the football every time

Bro both parties ARE the same if one party actively stops anyone from improving anything while the other party actively makes everything worse and they literally NEVER improve anything the republicans do.

One party's job is to actively do nothing and convince idiots like you they're the good guys, while enabling the other party to do this. Then when they get power again they will do NOTHING again. They are two parts of a team that are fucking you and you're an absolutely clueless rube that is so fucking naive you can't see it.

Biden could have killed Trump and it would be legal, yet he didn't.

Democrars actively enable Republicans because they never stop republicans enacting their policies. That is because democrats agree with republican policy.

The Republican and Democratic parties are different only in the way that a knife's blade is different to its handle.

[-] Tom742@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago

They’re like a pair of scissor blades, you need both cooperating to cut effectively

You are not getting your "gotcha". The democrats are the "good cops" to the republican "bad cops", the republicans enact more oppressive streams of the empire and the democrats follow after to clam dissent and de-energize social movements - that is their function.

[-] Jabril@hexbear.net 8 points 1 day ago

If democrats were good then Biden or Obama would have entered office and on day one issued hundreds of executive orders to fulfill all their campaign promises and solve all the problems we have in our society. Instead they call trump a fascist, shook his hand, and handed him the keys. Biden said "welcome home" as he arrived at the white house. You are looking at the Democratic strategy playing out exactly as they intended and still rush for their boots to shove into your mouth.

Another important point in terms of foreign policy:

Biden lured Europe into becoming more dependent on the US, and Trump is going to exploit that to its full potential now (e.g. Greenland).

It's just good cop/bad cop. They are playing for the same team, and barring a few exceptions, they showed this openly at the inauguration.

One was enthusiastically funding a genocide and supressing all opposition, the other plans the linked shit. They are the same.

you're not touching a tree, dipshit, that's the elephant's leg

[-] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 5 points 1 day ago

Where is any piece of the legacy of the Obama or Biden administrations that hasn't been and won't be completely overturned by Trump?

It's not pendulum politics, it's ratchet politics.
