That's not what political capital means.

Also, he talks about leftists retconning, but the only retconning about massive and hugely popular protests was people pretending after the fact there wasn't massive support behind them.

Do they think everything is twitter? Leftists have no public presence in America whatsoever. The only thing I can think is these people are talking specifically about the 2020 Sanders coalition or anyone they think might belong to it. They're either electoral brained or twitter brained or some unholy combination of both
