Its the balance with this kind of stuff that's tricky. You don't want to make kids ashamed of having urges. But also, you do want them to act in ways that are socially acceptable (speaking very generally), and of course, porn specifically can easily become pretty mentally unhealthy for adults, let alone teens.

I feel like, especially for 'awkward/nerdy' kids, this kind of shaming can lead them to being anxiety ridden wrecks anytime they are around potentially interested partners, as they think their urges overall are something to be ashamed of.

And, that shame is multiplied if the content is LGBT, generally speaking.

In addition to what was already said, you probably will go to the restroom more often, as Vegan food tends to be less calorie dense and more fiber rich, so you tend to eat more, in terms of 'actual volume of food' (even if, often, its still lower caloric intake). A bigger concern isn't really 'more often' so much as 'irregularly', or 'painfully'.

A lot of languages also don't consider 'meat' to include 'fish meat', having entirely separate words for the two.

I can't directly relate. I strongly prefer 'person with schizophrenia' to 'schizophrenic' (or similar, worse terms). I feel that, first and foremost, I am a person, as are all people, neurodivergent or not.

I think its about intent. While the DF devs could spend more effort on keeping players from being maniacs, it still doesn't seem like the want the players to be terrible to children. In fact, some of the worst stuff (danger rooms as child abuse training zones, and mermaid bone farms), were specifically targeted in patches to no longer be 'good' strategies.

As opposed to a lot of other games, who's inclusion of 'punching children' seems like they're doing it to be 'edgy and subversive'. And the 'child snatching' thing is just classic fairy tale, and also would be a real danger if you're living in the wilderness around predator animals.

I grew up helping my family 'process' cow and deer (and occasionally other game animals). It doesn't especially gross me out, and I'd do it again if my choice was to butcher animal corpses or have me and my family die.

Luckily, I developed a functioning moral and ethical framework, and don't need to eat animals or animal byproducts to live... so I don't. I think its wrong, even if it doesn't literally turn my stomach to think about doing.

And, I'm not the furthest off from being forced to eat animal products or die; I have a lot of food allergies, and my body seems like it likes getting more over time. Biggest struggle for me is being deathly allergic to all nuts and several seeds, but I'm okay with beans and wheat. Hope my body doesn't take me 🫘 from me. But I really can't eat from any restaurant, due to cross contamination.
