Let's do the math: 0 items cost 0 money. So that's what you pay.

0 items cost 0 money. That's what you would pay without the offer. 0 times 50% is 0 money, as the sign says.

I see nothing wrong with the logic. I guess OP just doesn't understand math or preys upon people who don't.

Wait, I'm paying 0 money instead of 0 money? But 0 money is 500% times 0 money. Why am I paying 5 times more for this "sale"???

[-] lugal@sopuli.xyz 2 points 6 months ago

Now that I think about it, maybe "sale" isn't the right word but still you don't really pay five times more. According to your own calculation, you pay five times as much which is four times more. You're clearly exaggerating.

Fine I didn’t want one anyway

It's the sour grapes sale 😭

[-] henfredemars@infosec.pub 5 points 6 months ago

Cue confused customers not sure how to get the sale and completely not understanding the concept of buying zero means not buying anything.

This may be the only case of "you'll own nothing and you will like it" that I can agree with.

buy 0, get -1

[-] bquintb@midwest.social 1 points 6 months ago

So if I buy three , how much is that divided by 0?
