EXCLUSIVE: Legendary's feature adaptation of the Capcom video game Street Fighter is getting a strong boost of comic relief as sources tell Deadline that Andrew Schulz has joined the cast. While not confirmed, sources say he will play the character Dan Hibiki.

As if the cast of this movie didn't have plenty of dipshits on it already, now this cracKKKer is going to portray an Asian character.

A reminder as to who this loser is:

As a kid, I was pushed left because of how censorious the right was, waving their fingers, don't use cuss words, this is too sexual. I'm like, "Yo, I want to be like the Democrats, they got girls sucking d--k in the Oval Office." They were cool as s--t. And now it's the opposite. The Republicans are getting pussy left and right, they're the ones who say crazy jokes.

cringe This is a 41-year old man. And lol @ thinking chuds are sex gods. That must be why they lose their shit over peach fuzz and realistic portrayals of women in media. lenin-sure

We had Street Fighter decades ago, we had the GOAT in Raul Julia, you're not going to do better so just stop.

Literally all I remember from that movie is him and Van Damme flexing his american flag tattoo for the camera.

[-] Redcuban1959@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago

Republicans are getting pussy left and right

How much of that activity is between consenting adults?

[-] GnastyGnuts@hexbear.net 19 points 3 days ago

Zero interest in a Street Fighter movie that isn't animated.

[-] wanderwisley@lemm.ee 1 points 2 days ago

Agreed just play the games and watch the old anime movie and for a random good laugh watch the movie from the 90s. Way better than this trash will be.

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 20 points 3 days ago

Also, does he realize that Dan is supposed to be the gag character that sucks?

[-] corgiwithalaptop@hexbear.net 14 points 3 days ago

Literally no, he probably doesn't

[-] robot_dog_with_gun@hexbear.net 9 points 3 days ago

yeah this could be kinda ok if he just gets shit on the entire time and it ends his career

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 5 points 3 days ago

Be funnier if he dies on set

[-] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 18 points 3 days ago

And now it's the opposite. The Republicans are getting pussy left and right, they're the ones who say crazy jokes.

Oh yeah? I can say controversial jokes! Unlimited Genocide on CracKKKers!

The Republicans are getting pussy left and right

The party notorious for saying sex with women is gay, sure my dude.

The only thing I'm even remotely looking forward to around this movie is ytps and shitpost edits.

We already have the previous live action SF movie as the "so bad it's good" campfest.

Why do they keep trying to make movies about fighting games? They've got the thinnest possible plots because they have to convey them in the brief dialogue at the start and end of a match. They're not even particularly popular as a genre.

[-] Redcuban1959@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago

Because it's easy to write the script (you can just make stuff up) and they have a lot of fans. Honestly, I do like the 1990s Mortal Kombat movie, and I think the Street Fighter 1990s movie is pretty funny (The first anime movie is good).

[-] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 4 points 3 days ago

1990s Mortal Kombat is GOAT. I think one of the reasons it works as a fighting game movie is that a martial arts tournament is the primary plot point. Other fighting game movies, including later MK films, try to expand the plot beyond martial arts competitions. We get really quick character backstories in '90s MK, like Cage's action film scene, that are short and straight to the point, not lingering on exposition dumps or training montages.

[-] Redcuban1959@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago

The soundtrack was also really good. Funny enough the movie would ended up influencing the games and a lot of the movie lore would be reused for the games. I think a sequel movie with the Tournament in the Outworld and with Shao Kahn as the main villain would have been simple and good, instead we got whatever the fuck Mortal Kombat Annihilation was.

[-] AssortedBiscuits@hexbear.net 1 points 3 days ago

The Mortal Kombat movie worked because it was just Enter the Dragon with supernatural elements and 80s-90s one-liners like "Those were $500 sunglasses, asshole."

[-] Cimbazarov@hexbear.net 12 points 3 days ago

What's next? Joe Rogan as Sagat?

[-] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 12 points 3 days ago

Guest appearance Mike Tyson as Balrog or it's a wash.

[-] Cimbazarov@hexbear.net 12 points 3 days ago

Actually 50 cent is Balrog michael-laugh

[-] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago

Oh hell yeah

[-] Comrade_Mushroom@hexbear.net 6 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Is it even possible to make a Street Fighter movie that isn't Uwe Boll tier garbage? I mean it was a herculean effort on behalf of Raul Julia to make any part of the '94 movie watchable even in a campy sense, and that movie's still ass.

Don't get me wrong - I think a good group of writers could take some of the batshit lore of Street Fighter and do something interesting with it - what I'm asking is whether or not the ~~filthy capitalist pigs~~ IP owners are capable of allowing that to happen lmao

[-] adultswim_antifa@hexbear.net 6 points 3 days ago

The right is getting better at saying crazy jokes and it's making lefties nervous.

[-] kleeon@hexbear.net 4 points 3 days ago

"Street Fighter movie" is an intensely stupid idea

[-] SexUnderSocialism@hexbear.net 5 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

It wouldn't be the first time either. They already made a Street Fighter movie (also called 'Street Fighter') based on SF2 back in 1994. Even more ridiculous, a year later they made a fighting game (called Street Fighter: The Movie) based on the movie, with digitized actors. One of the dumbest ideas ever.

So you had a terrible fighting game, based on a bad movie, that itself was based on a good fighting game. wowee

[-] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago

it's such a good idea they've done it before and even ouroborosed a game of the movie

[-] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago

50 cent also going to be in the Street Fighter movie as Balroc.

Seems to be tirning into a frothingfash launder fest.

Hope it flops hard.
