Get one of those dry herb vaporizers, you'll use up less weed and get more high and it's way easier on the lungs.

This is not true, I used to chain dabs like a mfer. I could easily go through a gram of wax a day when I was smoking. To be fair I also got a gram for like $3 so I didn't have to hold myself back for cost reasons

What I really need to do is start growing it so I'm not spending a shitload every month, then start vaping it and using the ABV bud/all the excess (since let's be real, two productive plants would be enough for me to smoke for a year) to make edibles or tinctures. But i've been out of work all summer so I kinda owe my partner a lot of money (not that she's been keeping track) so idk when I'll feel comfortable buying the seeds and shit I'll need. There is enough GHG in the atmosphere right now to warm the earth to over 4c above preindustrial. That is not taking into account tipping points. We will be dealing with the effects of climate change forever. I don't know what you envision avoiding the worst of it meaning, but even the best case miracle scenario is horrifying.
