Some of the trash bags have kitchen waste in them. Sometimes, when I'm carrying them down the stairs, they touch my skin and the liquid (mostly water) starts dripping down my legs.

cat food juices mainly for me... sometimes the tins break through the bag and it dribbles down the bag. other stuff I tend to dump in sink drain prior, yeah, the liquid thing never made sense to me tbh
Liquid as in water from the trash bags in the kitchen. Rarely happens tho.

Not everyone has a disposal or compost option. And even if you do have a disposal, it's rare that you can just put anything you want down it.
I bring the entire garbage can with me. Not today, fermented mystery garbage juice.
