I follow a twitch streamer who is from Ukraine; I knew he fled the country at the start, but didn't know where he ended up. Recently learned he made it to Canada and has been streaming a lot since he can't legally work. Happy for him

they are literally going to wait until they completely break and the russian troops are on the way to kyiv to be like, "okay, well compromise and give you bonbas"
I do wonder if at some point we’ll see a sort of mass mutiny / rebellion on the part of the Ukrainian soldiers a la 1917. The conditions are staring to feel similar though at this point I think the war has more support among the populace than you need to reach a “critical mass”.
Russia is going to win the war, sooner or later. And the more this drags on, the more fighting for Ukraine is going to effectively be a death sentence. It doesn’t seem like NATO, Zelensky, the Nazis in charge or the Avoz freaks want to stop the bloodshed. When you put humans in a situation like that, history shows people tend to have less fear of the consequences of mutiny than they do the enemy’s cannons.
I also predict we willl see NATO troops in Ukraine, but only to shoot at Ukrainian mutineers.
I think that's a very likely possibility. All the ideologically motivated people signed up at the start of the war, and a lot of them are dead now. Those who remain are becoming increasingly demoralized. Meanwhile, fresh people they're kidnapping off the street have no training and no interest in fighting. There will be an inflection point where there simply aren't enough motivated and experienced people to hold the army together. When it's reached the collapse will be sudden and widespread. This is where a mutiny scenario becomes probable.
Whether NATO goes in directly or not is the big question. It seems like a lot of people in Europe realize that it would be the end of Europe, but the hawks in charge are very much pushing for this.
