Hexagons are the bestagons, after all

[-] ThrowawayPermanente@sh.itjust.works 25 points 2 months ago

Hexalo Bill: I'd tesselate me. I'd tesselate me so hard.

[-] FartsWithAnAccent@fedia.io 14 points 2 months ago

Came here to say: Hexagon bestagon.

[-] _haha_oh_wow_@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 months ago

Did someone say something about hexagons in here?

[-] Crackhappy@lemmynsfw.com 3 points 2 months ago

Vi, that you?

A football is made from hexagons and pentagons. The dude in the picture is all hexagons.

While hexagons are bestagons on a 2d plane, they don't really fold well over inflated 3d space.

I'm impressed that the barber solved that on a ball shaped head anyway.

I like the cut of your jib

[-] abfarid@startrek.website 4 points 2 months ago

His haircut misses the pentagons though. Not regulation haircut.

It's as bad as England's football signs!

[-] skulblaka@sh.itjust.works 22 points 2 months ago

Am I the only person that thinks this really isn't bad at all? I like the style. I have seen some absolutely wack haircuts in my time and this one, I think this one is not only not bad, but is actually good.

Saving this stand-up mathematician angry about balls on street signs for later.

Also, a little tracker delete for you.

I always wondered do people go to the barber weekly?

I mean that style would get shaggy quick?

[-] Jiggle_Physics@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

There are a lot of people who do, yes. Especially people who are public figures, with high pay.

Galapagos Tortoise shellmet.

[-] troyunrau@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 months ago

Can't see the back, so maybe they used pentagons there to make it work. From this angle though, it's quite nicely done actually.
