He should be freed under the Lovable Scamp Law with this being declared little rascal behaviour instead of an assassination attempt. Ryan Routh deserves a second chance to fuck up in a more spectacular way. Maybe he'll fall out of the tree while trying to shoot or he'll put the bullet in backwards.

Next time, the barrel will poke out of the bushes and an ss agent will tiptoe over to it and tie be barrel in a knot. When he's hauled off in cuffs, his face will be blasted with soot from the gun blowing up.
