In April 2025, Hershey signed an agreement to acquire LesserEvil
So now they're just regular evil

People seem to misunderstand the term lesser evil. Because lesser evil doesn't mean things are good. They are still admittedly evil. They are being open about it
It really is the most corporate capture of a term to turn it into yet another marketing buzzword, isn't it?
"Fortunately for us, Coca-Cola has set the bar for what constitutes 'lesser evil' incredibly low."
Thought this was the vegan snackfood company that got famous for union busting with a land acknowledgement, that also got featured on Chapo as a reading series.
They've gone all in on advertising with their Weird White Buddha Babies and it's tough to watch
