Its been years that people on e.g YT have been shitting on Tesla autopilot being a scam, literaly running over children in tests etc. Then his tunnel shit makes him look like a clown and THEN his silly ass looking space ship manages to explode some half a dozen times.
I don't think Elon would be able to maintain his early fandom because he is not just about Tesla anymore and even if he was its not 2016 anymore anyway. Tesla can't compete with e.g Chinese EVs. Just go look at the comparisons and except for arguably performance Tesla is absolutely dogshit.
TL;DR Elon lost everything that made him appealing and even Tesla is shit compared to the overall EV market these days. Even if somehow the Twitter deal didn't happen I doubt he would be much better now.
His PR downfall was super preventable. Ironman is fictional and unrealistically competent, and nobody expects no failures. A good portion of the tests on YouTube were designed to be impossible to fail (such as the ones where a mannequin gets shot out .25s from a model y doing 30), draw attention to those and make people associate "Tesla assisted breaking test" with "impossible to pass clickbait" and the problem is minimized. With starship exploding, space travel is hard and starship is ambitious. Spinning a series of failed tests into proof that the project is ambitious is a very easy thing to do; every space project has failed a lot before succeeding, so just draw attention to that. He could absolutely maintain his image to most people and rebrand his failings as progress — "Elon time" has been a thing for at least a decade. His downfall wasn't inevitable, people just stopped looking past his issues when he bought Twitter and supported DeSantis.

Inevitably the Democrats are then confused why the gibbering and baying hogs of the GOP's base don't admire their competent administration of the horror and why their own base whom they own and are entitled to full unconditional support from forever for free are angry and disaffected with them.

Probably cause he was Obama and he was just gonna be their golden retriever willingly anyway. Also the CIA or Mossad or whatever doesnt control who gets elected, they create the conditions that anyone who would ever get to that point is safe to them. They arent the Patriots from Metal Gear. They have their fingers in many sinister soups but they're also bunglers to a cartoonish level and while they do influence things it's usually in how they tend to turn every situation they involve themselves in into a chaotic quagmire.

I extracted the PDF. They only published 6 pages while they claim to have received 8,544 documents in this batch. The important thing to note is that this is published by Democrats in US Congress rather than the US DOJ, while Kash Patel is claiming that Epstein had no clients.

Thiel is surprising, because all of Epstein's public victims were/are girls. If Thiel was visiting, I wonder if Epstein had a separate pipeline for young boys as well, and who that implicates.
I suspect a part of the death drive towards fascism comes from people who have done such wrongs that they believe they absolutely must take power or else they're going to end up locked up.
Many things that are pushed for make no sense except against the backdrop of self preservation.
A lot of these people would be much better off melting into the background and being invisible, like some of their counterparts. They don't do that because they know they can not, they are in too deep, they have done too many heinous wrongs. Like a mafia familia who wants to get out of the game, they can not.

Liberalism has allowed enough of these people to accumulate that they've crossed a critical threshold where they actually hold enough power between them to work to overthrow the system. And even though liberalism is explicitly being hands-off with them (as visible in the fact that so many of them have been allowed to accumulate), they still feel threatened enough by the heinous shit they will overthrow the whole system to protect themselves.
Not all of them are like this obviously. Some are true believers in fascism. But some of these figures aren't committed fascists, they're just nonces throwing their lot in with fascists because regular people will crucify them if they do not.
