If the only way an industry could survive is through immigration, it is obvious that there needs to be a legal path for the skilled workers to immigrate. Maybe this should have been considered before the deportation surge.
But I suspect given the sponsors of this legislation that this is unlikely to have a path to citizenship and will amount to indentured servitude.

Few stories I've read lately is their ideas are much larger than warehouses, like a 100k person prison, billions of dollars. How this isn't causing total shutdown of the US by general strike is horrifying as a neighbor. I can't imagine how they think they're in a democracy, though I'm sure many of them probably understand that which is even scarier. I bet those ones will be surprised when they're on a list for some reason too, there always needs to be enemies afterall.

If we gave immigrants regardless of status workers rights like minimum wage and union protection the new complaint wouldn't be about deportations, but about how wages are too high right now.

true, ive never seen a white construction worker working on houses "except maybe one time", its either hispanics or asians, but asians only serve asian customers theres are also language barrier anyways, its eaiser to communicate in spanish than with mandarin/catonese so that group is out.
and white ones usually work on commercial buildings instead where the money is likely better.
Probably the only guy who became president in a very long time to actually have a well thought out immigration policy was George W. Bush (yes, the war criminal) back when he was governor of Texas. He even wanted to implement some of it as president. Unfortunately, he was a dummy, Cheney was a cartoon villain, and 9/11 absolutely derailed any conversations about doing anything that did not involve killing muslims and erroding Americans' civil liberties.

Funny, I remember Florida running into a similar issue a few years ago when DeSantis passed that law making it illegal for migrant workers/immigrants to drive or for US citizens to drive them.
Houses left to rot as workers fled the state and supply chains disrupted as freight trucks refused to enter the state and simply dumped their loads at the border.
I never did hear how that worked out for them, but I imagine they quietly walked back that law and pretended that it never happened.
