Enjoyed seeing the hot dog stand overcharging the rioters for food and drinks, one year after the BLM protests were giving people water for free.

Hell the protest against my genocidal congressman yesterday had someone giving out free slices of pizza

Our side just loves giving out free food, like it's part of our ideology or something thinkin-lenin

[-] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 10 points 10 months ago

To be fair I would definitely be overcharging these bozos regardless of what my ideology is. The hogs demand hogs

[-] 420stalin69@hexbear.net 51 points 10 months ago

My favorite memory was how they got inside and then had literally no plan. Proof that the right has no theory.

[-] happybadger@hexbear.net 41 points 10 months ago

They just transformed into lost tourists who suddenly had too much patriotic respect for the institution to do anything. Hogs filing down the hallways looking at the decor was great. Otherwise the only things they could think to do is host an impromptu prayer and shit on a desk.

They literally had their own 'lost in the winter palace' moment

[-] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 7 points 10 months ago

This painting automatically made me think of the Willem Dafoe reaction image lol

[-] Hohsia@hexbear.net 16 points 10 months ago

Didn’t someone literally let them in lmao

[-] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 17 points 10 months ago

Yes. The cops spread their arms for a few seconds to prevent people from trespassing. Then one guy managed to just walk by, the cops gave up and just open the barricade for them to rush in.

And for some reason liberals keep calling it an “assault” on law enforcement. Like buddy, you seriously think the law was on your side? Lmao. They literally let them in

Before they stormed the capitol, they went into a building that was under construction. It was covered by a large tarp and the police had flooded the area with tear gas. I remember this beautiful moment when I saw a bunch of antivaxxers coughing their lungs up, some with audible COVID rattles, marching into a circus tent filled with tear gas. It was the point where I started laughing at everything they did.

[-] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 26 points 10 months ago

The grown up version of the kids who would go into a fumigation tent because of the festive colors

[-] ziggurter@hexbear.net 5 points 10 months ago

Something, something bath salts or whatever.

[-] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 38 points 10 months ago

Mine was when Ashli Babbitt died of a fentanyl overdose.

[-] WeedReference420@hexbear.net 31 points 10 months ago
[-] FALGSConaut@hexbear.net 10 points 10 months ago

I always confuse Ashli Babbitt with Lauren Boebert for some reason

No, the coroner found that she had multiple opioids in her system. She had already taken a fatal dose that day and stress from the moment precipitated her passing out.

"Via Getty" is a close second

[-] emizeko@hexbear.net 28 points 10 months ago

:via-getty:

[-] dannoffs@hexbear.net 24 points 10 months ago

I forgot about that. That's up there with Four Seasons total landscaping

[-] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 6 points 10 months ago

Fucking Italians

[-] duderium@hexbear.net 34 points 10 months ago

I loved seeing the politicians doing their thing inside the capitol building completely oblivious to the army of hogs that was seconds away from battering down the doors.

[-] OpenStars@discuss.online 32 points 10 months ago

They trained their entire lives for this... in their heads. Probably should have gotten off the couch a couple times irl too.

[-] ReadFanon@hexbear.net 23 points 10 months ago

"Okay, just remember your training and stay within the velvet ropes at all times. You've got this!"

[-] Sphere@hexbear.net 20 points 10 months ago

lmao at the guys moving the ropes over so they have more room between them, amazing

it is very important that for the last three years and maybe the next three we continue to relitigate whether this was a crime or a super duper deluxe crime with guac and pickled onions

[-] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 9 points 10 months ago

It took them 3 years to get the instigator to even appear in court lol. 3 fucking years. In a sane country he would’ve been brought to an open courtyard and blindfolded 2 hours after the event

[-] huf@hexbear.net 5 points 10 months ago

nah, right wing "coup attempts" are not dangerous to capital, so there's no need to do anything much to the perpetrators. you can make an example of them, but it's optional. see also hitler's slap on the wrist for attempting to take over bavaria.

[-] aaaaaaadjsf@hexbear.net 25 points 10 months ago

My favourite was the dumbasses on the donald debating if they should break into Pelosi's office, saying how it's a sacred place, before some other chuds did it anyway and stole her laptop.

[-] axont@hexbear.net 12 points 10 months ago

I made the mistake of checking in on 4chan when it was happening. They mostly seemed to believe it was a false flag even though people were planning it, on 4chan, for months in full view of everyone.

The others were hoping the white house wouldn't get burned down or anything. They kept saying like "that's what leftists would do" except also using more slurs

[-] Rom@hexbear.net 24 points 10 months ago

I really loved it when they livestreamed themselves committing crimes without even bothering to cover up their faces. Even posing for pictures too via-getty chefs-kiss

[-] ElChapoDeChapo@hexbear.net 21 points 10 months ago

Wearing masks would be letting the deepstate win frothingfash

[-] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 10 points 10 months ago

"Wearing masks is what the Soros backed Antifer use! We aren't like those commie socialist Liberals! frothingfash "

My favorite moment was when the congresspeople realized what was going on and started to evacuate. But then one of the interns decided to take the ballot box with them that affirmed the president. Articles and liberals were getting teary eyed at such a noble passion for guarding democracy… even though it was literally just a box of paper that could’ve been redone any moment afterwards because it was just congresspeople ‘voting’. They acted like those scraps could’ve been stolen by the boaters and manipulated into giving Trump the presidency when it was just a ceremonial formality lol

Actually no. My favorite moment was when Trump was already long gone and realizing that it was over for him, put out a message urging patriots to be non-violent and go home. He called them special and thanked them for protecting freedom. Literally called them special like children lmao

https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/baltimore/news/its-time-to-go-home-now-president-trump-tweets-message-to-supporters-storming-the-u-s-capitol/

LOL. “We love you. You’re very special.”

[-] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 17 points 10 months ago

Say what you will about Trump, but he knows exactly what his audience wants to hear.

The “we’re animaney, totally insane-y, they pushed me out and maced me!, animaniiiacs!” Video

[-] axont@hexbear.net 17 points 10 months ago

The climbing the wall thing was funny, yeah. The funniest part to me is how the feds caught that one organizer hiding in an Olive Garden.

No wait, the funniest part is how they just all went home. They all drove home to their pool supply stores in Iowa like nothing happened. And they haven't tried anything like that since unless those anti-trans things outside of Disney world count.

They had no theory at all. They busted their last bit of energy on the capital and left. I think most right wingers wanna pretend it never happened

[-] DrCrustacean@hexbear.net 11 points 10 months ago

I think most right wingers wanna pretend it never happened

It took them about a month to even reach a consensus on whether or not it even happened. They were pretty sure that the protestors were paid actors, antifa, a psyop, etc.

[-] cosecantphi@hexbear.net 16 points 10 months ago

I feel so upset that I totally missed Jan 6th while it was happening. Chapo.chat was having a massive struggle session at the time, so I decided to log off for a while. Bad decision considering I avoid all other news sources for my own sanity. I returned days later, totally clueless about what was perhaps the funniest event in American history, worst case of retroactive FOMO in my life

[-] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 14 points 10 months ago

God yes I love it when they put their action movie fantasies on full display

[-] kristina@hexbear.net 13 points 10 months ago

This was one of the best things to happen lately, it provides us with endless entertainment to this day

[-] operacion_ogro@hexbear.net 13 points 10 months ago

I remember working from home that day and all my coworkers were so aghast that they cancelled meetings for the rest of the day. I was laughing my ass off

[-] ziggurter@hexbear.net 10 points 10 months ago

I thought the funniest part is where they trampled a cop. Talk about a "let them fight!" moment.

[-] Assian_Candor@hexbear.net 5 points 10 months ago

I was rooting for the zip tie guy tbh
