I think I had the same computer chassis decades ago or someone I knew did it triggered some deep memory for me
if there's a shower nearby and maybe an open space for a butane stove then I'd live there if it meant not paying rent. Fuck it for one month's rent where I live I can put in drywall, floors, and lighting and maybe even get secondhand furniture.
