...I mean, we have !twosentencehorror@sh.itjust.works here on lemmy. Don't crosspost from Reddit and redirect traffic back to that shit hole; just steal the content and post it here fresh.

[-] Khrux@ttrpg.network 10 points 8 months ago

I believe this is critiquing the quality of Reddit's idea of horror stories, hence the fact it's a screenshot from there. Although I'm sure the Reddit OP intended for it to be satire anyway.

[-] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

Fair enough. Though I think those types of subs never intended to take themselves seriously, including the one here, so parody-post away.

this is an image we're not giving reddit traffic

I suppose if he'd been more specific and asked for a million dollars the genie would give him a bunch of these

[-] chumbalumber@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 8 months ago

And have still shuddered when I fucked every single dollarydoo.

[-] explodicle@local106.com 2 points 8 months ago

Or the genie could just give quadrillions of dollars to the wealthy, so even millionaires would be poor.

[-] DarkThoughts@fedia.io 14 points 8 months ago

How is it even a horror story? If he fucks them, then he clearly got what he wanted.

Don't forget those poor animals.

[-] WalrusDragonOnABike@reddthat.com 6 points 8 months ago

Poor animals? They get to have a great time with Bigbryce. If they wanted to leave, there's a million of them. They could easily kill Bryce or just leave if they wanted. Nothing in the wish would prevent those. Honestly, I'd worry more than Bryce.... even if they thought that's what they wanted at first, after a couple times they might regret what they brought upon themselves.

[-] thisbenzingring@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 8 months ago

They wouldn't know anything but this. The genie just brought them into existence. All they know is that this is what it's all about.

[-] Mac@mander.xyz 11 points 8 months ago

The real horror here is where this post came from.

[-] fidodo@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

It's not even a great joke

It's a common trope for genies to purposefully misinterpret wishes, this one in particular being a common one where someone wishes for "a million bucks," meaning dollars, but the genie interprets it as a million male deer and gives them that instead.

In this case, they're subverting the trope by the wisher actually wanting the deer, to have sex with for an extra bit of shock humor.

You don't want to...

Bucks as in deer.
