I posit the eugenics wars are already ongoing.
When were they expected to start?
We have quite a few large scale genocides going on. So, yeah, maybe.
We've got nine months left in the year so we could squeeze in the Eugenics War for July and get Irish unification by December ..... hopefully we won't mix those up and end up with an Irish War and a Eugenics Unification instead

Do they ever give details on the eugenics wars? Like I assume it was a war between countries trying to do eugenics and countries who didn't but who won? Does eugenics include gene editing? I have to assume that a civilization as advanced as Star Trek would be able to edit out cancer risks and the like from genes.
Worth considering if records from our time didn't make it through with high fidelity and "eugenics" was.how they interpreted the christo--fascist-race-purity axis.of current conflicts.
What we know is that humans created improved versions. Stronger, smarter, more ruthless and cunning, more charismatic and good looking. And of course, also more ambitious.
Due to their objective superiority they rise to leadership positions in many countries or regions, and start warring with each other for world domination.
I don’t think it is detailed how the normal humans overcome the warlords, but they are defeated and killed / exiled (khan etc) and gene editing becomes illegal for everything but severe birth defects.

Also, at least in Khan's case, extremely narcissistic, which was his downfall both times.
At some point they absolutely include gene editing. But I'm not sure if they get into how it started, and I think the gene editing part was an attempt to make a better weapon.

Kate Middleton has not been attending official events after her surgery, and spends her time creating a minor PR crisis with Photoshop.
The exiled prince is Harry, who moved to the US, but he's not really the "spare" anymore since his brother already has kids.
Kate Middleton, the Princess Of Wales has been away from her royal duties for a while. Since most flag-shaggers here love William and Kate they're almost always the main group to be wheeled out whenever there is Royal busy-work to do, but apparently she's been away due to having surgery. Since she's been out for three months with no news and Charles has been working with prostate cancer the Brits have been having fun with conspiracies. The leading one for a while was that she's had a Brazilian butt-lift, but some believe there's been infidelity, she's been murdered, and plenty of other "theories". The badly photoshopped picture of her family just added fuel to the fire.
As for the one in exile, that'll be Prince Harry. Many Brits think the evil Black American took him away to be a celebrity, and that basically tells you everything you need to know about a good section of the British public...
