I think that's a broom, not a plunger. Assuming I'm looking at the thing you're talking about

I wouldn't trust that number. I tried to follow the citation trail back to its source and couldn't find the relevant study.

The link in the Medium post links to a terrible click bait blog post from a year ago, which then links to a website called "faunalytics", which says of itself "faunalytics conducts research and shares knowledge to help advocates help animals effectively". But I couldn't find the actual study with the 9% and 3% numbers. It might be there, but I couldn't find it.

If it makes you feel better, I was thinking you were a smug carnist before I read the comment in which you admit to being one. It's not hard to see from a comment or two that you're in here to drop the same shitty carnist arguments we've all heard before.

Stop eating animals.

Only IRL, in that socialist state that had people trying, things went differently, because officials and directors and administrators felt that such a system would threaten their power.

Would you mind providing some evidence for this claim? I assume you're talking here about the Soviet Union, but I have never heard that Soviet scientists tried to build an internet but were stopped by government officials. I'd like to see some evidence of this before I just take your word for it, you know? Thanks!

Enough dishes have piled up in the sink that I actually, factually have to do them today, I absolutely cannot put them off another day cri kitty-cri-screm

Ok, that's actually an amazing idea. I would love cans like that! And it also seems surprisingly practical. Why don't bean cans have a layer that peels away to reveal built-in colanders?!

I wish FromSoft games had a story mode or something so people could still experience the world without dealing with the bullshit. Now, I love the bullshit (mostly) and I think it's a really good, clever game that rewards you for paying attention, but I won't deny that losing a bunch of souls because you died to something stupid is extremely demoralizing. I have no doubt there's a bunch of people who would really enjoy the world of Dark Souls if they could just experience it in a more friendly way.

He's right though, the song is basically saying "life is hard for conservative cishet white men because of the got dang politicians taxing us", and that's a fundamentally reactionary view of the world.

If you want recommendations for good, actually working class country songs, might I recommend Woodie Guthrie? Or Peggy Seeger? They're a little more on the folk side, but they're really good.
