The romantics never said anything about the farts on thighs and I did not consent to being in anyone else's Dutch oven.
My husband and I have separate blankets. Allows for better temperature regulation (he runs way hotter than me), and we never fight over the blanket.
We were traveling in Austria last year and this is apparently the norm there. Every hotel had separate "single" duvets on each half of the bed.
