Great, so I'm allowed to go run over some abortion protestors trying to stop folks from getting healthcare then right? No issues with that?

[-] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 58 points 1 day ago

yeah but we both know that's not how this works

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 48 points 1 day ago

If anyone needs a reminder on how bad DeSantis is, he went to Guantanamo, earned the trust of the inmates claiming he was there to help, found out which tortures they hated the most and then advised for those to be increased.

Military members who worked with him also said the man is a war criminal and they hated working with him (not to lessen the fact that the people here are criminals themselves, just to repeat that war criminals thought this guy was pretty bad).

Reminds me of the thing where CIA agents were complaining that SEAL Team 6 were terrifying serial killer monsters whose unchecked bloodlust was an active hindrance on the ground because they would just execute everyone they got their hands on. The murderous torture freaks were put off by the sheer self-sabotaging murder lust of their spec ops goons.

you can stand inside the new ford f-5037.

technically you can run immigrants over while standing your (moving) ground.

amerikkkans are bloodthirsty jackals who want to murder every single person who disagrees with them

[-] plinky@hexbear.net 41 points 1 day ago

gta6 marketing campaign goes kinda wild, spread some bent nails around your protest

[-] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 33 points 1 day ago

I've been surprised there hasn't been more use of caltrops around ICE kidnappings.

[-] robot_dog_with_gun@hexbear.net 16 points 1 day ago

need hollow ones for maximum tyre killing. modern rubber wont mind a nail puncture fast enough

then you have to clean them up because people live and work there

[-] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

oh, I know. But you'd think we're getting to that point where you'd see someone try it. Some infographs being spread around, screenshots from ecodefense, etc.

I’d think you could use 4 pieces of metal conduit, or angle iron, and some type of connector in the middle. Kinda like this, generally speaking

Absolutely awful 3d schematic I quick made - so it’s dog ass- but hopefully it illustrates what I’m trying to say lol and maybe someone with any sort of 3dCAD skill could interpret. It’s stuff that’s generally around construction sites so fairly easy to abscond/ditch material, could be folded up to stash, and I’d think it’d do some damage

Or this with some kind of metal conduit

Maybe some ideas in here https://archive.org/details/fm-5-34-engineer-field-data-w-change-3-1999/

Obviously all for educational hypothetical use against an occupying force in gta online

what's the play here chat? work nails or other sharps into triangular shapes to puncture more catastrophically, while affixing them to wood strips to aid deployment and cleanup?

im just assuming a triangular hole would lose air faster the same way wounds like that are harder to stitch up on people but idk I'm not a tire pressure loss expert

[-] robot_dog_with_gun@hexbear.net 2 points 1 day ago

maybe stealing spike strips from the cops while they're busy is something a cell could get away with idk what the best diy is

[-] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 15 points 1 day ago

I think my post about crushed spark plugs ("ninja glass") is a good idea too like some car drives at you? throw them at the windshield and oh they don't have a windshield anymore (unless the glass exploding surface tension disruption by ceramics doesn't work on windshields since they're that glass that isn't supposed to shatter idk)

[-] PaulSmackage@hexbear.net 19 points 1 day ago

You're correct with your aside, for a windshield i would recommend [redacted]

[-] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 5 points 1 day ago

damn i thought i had a good idea

[-] 7bicycles@hexbear.net 5 points 1 day ago

Ninja rocks for retroactive punishment to fuck up some persons side windows, for anti terror defense you want caltrops 300m out at minimum

[-] WizardOfLoneliness@hexbear.net 32 points 1 day ago

You heard it from him folks, if anyone impinges on your rights Ron DeSantis endorses you hitting them with a car

[-] shadowfax13@lemmy.ml 37 points 1 day ago

these mfs are itching to bring back slavery and whipping.

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 35 points 1 day ago

Someone tries to hit me with a car, I'm putting some speed holes on that thing

And if the driver gets a few, all the better

Make their blood move faster too

[-] Granite@midwest.social 25 points 1 day ago

Gov. Ron DeSantis says that Floridians are ALLOWED to drive over protesters in the street, if they feel like their life is in danger..

You have the wrong skin color so pedal to the metal.

[-] 7bicycles@hexbear.net 24 points 1 day ago

Is he wrong? As far as I'm aware that's the current legal situation there

[-] FloridaBoi@hexbear.net 21 points 1 day ago

Apparently it’s the easiest way to legally murder someone in the US

[-] BountifulEggnog@hexbear.net 3 points 1 day ago

Someone put a tier list together please

[-] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 16 points 1 day ago

He's not wrong, just showing how messed up this country is. Especially the state he's in charge of

[-] BadTakesHaver@hexbear.net 16 points 1 day ago

protesters have a right to climb on top of people's cars, break their windscreen, pull them out of the car, and then backflip onto the next car

[-] axont@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago

protestors have every right to reenact every scene from the highway chase in the matrix reloaded

[-] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 9 points 1 day ago
