Not sure about the US, but here in Denmark you can absolutely get fined for calling the cops fascist. It falls under the same law that protects traindrivers and social workers from being assaulted, because everybody knows that a cop wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a gun is exactly as deserving of protection as a traindriver being attacked by football fans after their team lost and they drank 20 beers to cope.

If you told a chud this story but instead the person the sandwich was thrown against was a "woke activist college student" and the thrower was some middling reactionary like Bill Maher they'd be aghast at the abuse of law and make fun of them for being so thin-skinned as to feel feloniously assaulted by a sandwich. Best part about that story is it's made up. I can, with probably 99% certainty guarantee that the person telling that story has never even been in a fight, never had a bloody nose, never been knocked out, never had a knife pulled on them, never been almost stabbed, never had to pull a gun on somebody, etc.
