The formatting is a little off. At the end of a line, before you hit enter, leave 2 spaces.

[-] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 14 points 2 months ago

Do you use a client? They look identical to me on browser. I’ll keep what you’ve said in mind but I’m still curious.

[-] DerisionConsulting@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 months ago

I just use the normal Lemmy web experience on desktop Firefox.

If the width of the window is made quite narrow, like on a phone, they will look the same. At full size, or in landscape, they won't.

[-] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 months ago

Ahhh, that makes sense. Thank you!

[-] Vespair@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Vivaldi browser, desktop, 4k screen, window maximized, lemm.ee interface here, and they look the same to me.

[-] DerisionConsulting@lemmy.ca 0 points 2 months ago

They edited the formatting of their comment, so they do look the same now.

[-] Vespair@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying.

[-] CaptSatelliteJack@lemy.lol 56 points 2 months ago

Rhe most absolutely cursed thing I've ever posted in Teams was 👁 👄 👁 in the org main chat. The mouth is tilted 45°, all the emojis are huge, and weirdly animated. It was very funny.

[-] bizarroland@fedia.io 11 points 2 months ago

I have a work friend that I occasionally chat with and I will keep this for the next conversation.

[-] DrDystopia@lemy.lol 5 points 2 months ago

I can be your internet friend if you can't wait for a work conversation and the chance to chat with someone.

[-] django@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 2 months ago

Thanks. Bookmarked for tomorrow… 😂

Ah... I get these now.

They don't put any bottom text because they don't like to bottom.

[-] Klear@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

"Fix this!"

[-] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 37 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

um if your message contains emojis of any kind, i'm not feeling intimidated whatsoever

edit: unless this is a joke, in which case, yep i ate the onion

I interpreted it as being IRL staring at them rather than emojis, but the latter IS MUCH funner when you imagine some old collage professor type dude just being confused

can't say which of these two games energy it gives off for me

noita

Knock-knock

[-] Lemminary@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago
[-] CheesyFox@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

And the second one is Knock-knock, far les known, i suppose. It's a pretty interesting game, where you should not only figure out how to play it, but also puzzle out, what is actually happening, and if you do, the game aknoledges it.

It's very short, you can beat it in, like, two hours or even less, but for me the misterious and surrealistic atmosphere is forever in my heart. I recommend everyone to play it.

[-] Sabata11792@ani.social 3 points 2 months ago

I have yet to reach the skill level in Noita to trigger the secret eyes... you know the ones you need to "break" the game to find.

I almost made it across REDACTED only to find a mod made it harder for the lols.

The coolest thing is you have to make a brokenly overpowered wand to start discovering stuff or your stuck in the "intended" game route.

[-] CheesyFox@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

moreover, in order to do so, you'd have to grasp the mechanics, get lucky, make somewhat op wand, survive, kill at least the alchemist, survive. Greek letters are necessary in the "unintended" route. I can't imagine how guys actually did it without all the knowledge there is today.

[-] Sabata11792@ani.social 2 points 2 months ago

Not to mention you are your own biggest threat at that point. An embarrassing amount of my deaths are "The wand worked fine in the holy mountain"
