The miniscule impact the complete rejection of current Israeli policy of extermination of the Democratic base had, being the election of Zohran Mamdani and a handful of representatives and some lip service from AOC, was enough to send the Dersh running. Unless a party shows complete devotion to Israel, it's not the Dersh's party.

Almost all of the centrist/rightwing rot that infests the DNC is concentrated in Illinois, New York and California. They are completely out of step with mainstream liberal voters nationwide in terms of their policies and preferences. The concentration of capital in these 3 states has completely taken over the political apparatus to an extent it hasn't quite in other places like say Colorado, Michigan, etc.
